Movies that you started watching with that preconceived notion of a boring cinephile movie, but you ended up loving it

It took me a while to watch A Ghost Story (2017) at the time because I felt like I was wasting my time after reading some of the reviews, just reading about the pie scene made me roll my eyes. Of course, there are a lot of pretentious movies that many people agree are good just to make themselves feel like movie critics, but I was wrong about that one.
