Hi there. I bought our tickets for Copa Airlines (flying from the US to Bolivia via Panama) and realized I used my wife's married name. However, when we checked in, after selecting the passport country, etc., one of the fields was for the name on the passport. She filled that out using her maiden name.

She has a Real ID driver's license and permanent residence card with her married name so I presume she could get through TSA with that. Her Brazilian passport has her maiden name.

I presume that while this is not ideal, it, in theory, should be okay as she has IDs with both names particularly since during check-in it lets you input a name for your passport and no error was shown that it did not match the boarding pass. She'll also be bringing the marriage certificate to show the name change.

Has anyone else had this situation? We fly tomorrow so it's definitely last minute.
