FFWRLX The National Weather Service in Charleston has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... East Central Washington County in southeastern Ohio... Roane County in central West Virginia... Northwestern Calhoun County in north central West Virginia... Northwestern Doddridge County in northern West Virginia... Tyler County in northern West Virginia... Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia... Pleasants County in northwestern West Virginia... Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia... Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia... Central Wood County in northwestern West Virginia... East Central Mason County in western West Virginia... * Until 345 AM EDT. * At 1141 PM EDT, emergency management reported flooding due to heavy rain across the warned area. Numerous roads remain flooded, with fast moving water still being reported in Ritchie County, and new flooding still being reported in Roane County. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Many steams continue to rise, and Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
