Join Marines or Army?

I’m torn between Marines and Army. If Marines than infantrymen of some sort either 0311 or 0331. If Army than airborne infantry. I wish marines could go airborne (other than recon). I’d love to go recon but i’m not sure the risk of washing out & losing my mos would be worth it. I’ve heard Army infantry promotes quicker than Marine infantry. Is there any truth to that? Let me know your thoughts/opinions thanks in advance!
