Help Me Understand

So my mom says I do not qualify to join the army because I am not perfect enough. She said quote-on-quote, "The Army is the perfectionists of the perfectionist's community". Is that true? I tuck in the corners of my bedsheet, make sure my bed is wrinkled-free, and make sure to tuck my pants into my boots. Am I missing something?
