US ARMY 1SG WORLD WAR II/KOREA

Hello all, first time posting here. My late grandfather served in the US Army in both World War II and Korean War. His rank was 1st Sgt. He passed in 2007 after battling Parkinsons for years. I never got a chance to hear many war stories from him, as I was younger and he had a very hard time talking due to Parkinsons. Not to mention we lived states apart. Anyways, I have signed up for fold3, trying to find out information on him or any kinds of records. I cannot find anything, other than his burial record from the VA. His occupation in civilian life was working for Illinois Bell, and in the army he used those skills to setup communications, which I assume would be Signal Corps? Does anyone have any tips on additional websites/archives I could find more info about him? We have some family pictures of him in both wars, but limited info that was passed down, as my grandmother is also gone. Thank you.
