New investor here, I'm holding index funds for a long term so I'm not concerned about what's happening in the next few years but I'm really curious as to why so many people are claiming that we're not only going to have a market correction but a full blown great depression 2.0. it just seems ridiculous to me but every where I look the news is stirring up paranoia claiming the market is going to crash 50% or go side ways for a whole decade. What do you guys think about all this doom and gloom speculation?
