Patchy dense fog and areas of light snow will impact much of Central and North-central Montana through at least mid-morning. Snowfall accumulations will mostly be less than a half of an inch, but this will be enough to make untreated roads lightly snow covered and slippery. Additionally, patchy dense fog will reduce visibility to less than a half mile in places and there will also be isolated instances of freezing drizzle accompanying the snow. Travelers and pedestrians should be prepared for highly variable road conditions, including sudden drops in visibility below a half mile and slippery roads and sidewalks. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
