Hi everyone! I was planning on doing a trip of the Scottish Highlands this July. Was planning on staying in Inverness for about 3 days and doing day trips to Eileen Donan, Loch Ness, Glencoe, Glenfinnan Viaduct, etc. However, if I am able to add a couple more days to the trip, I was wondering if staying one night in a town southeast of Inverness, and one night in Skye would be worth it? For context, I LOVE scotch (whisky), history, culture, food, architecture, etc. Like nature and hiking too but wouldn’t want to spend more than half a day doing that.

Would love your thoughts on what additional towns I should stay in and what you think of my plan overall. For additional context, I live in the US and am doing this trip before my friend’s wedding in London. Thanks in advance for your input!
