Is Greyhound Better After New Rules

So, it's been a few years since I took Greyhound, and in most cases it was an awful experience, and I vowed from then on to never take a long route with Greyhound. Thankfully, I did meet a wonderful driver who ended up driving on two different routes that I was going, and the trip would've been way worse without him specifically. He was kind, but he was a no-bullshit veteran that always got us where he needed to be early.

Anywho, that aside, I'm taking a much shorter and more direct route because it's by far the cheapest way to get to where I'm going, especially because I get a discount - it's about 35-45% of the next cheapest option to get home. I noticed that there have been some new rules in place since the last time I rode and some policy changes.

So, I'm wondering how things are with Greyhound lately and if things are better than they were before? Has Greyhound improved any in the past few years, or is it just a corporate façade of change?
