Why do I struggle to play games now

I used to be big into gaming, then I hit my late 20’s and my interest waned, I was buying games and barely playing them. Now in my mid 30’s, things haven’t really improved, last year I only got around to completing dark souls trilogy, those were the only games I played that year.

I recently bought dragons dogma 2, while I play it for 5 minutes I can see its greatness, however I then turn it off and go for a walk or read a book. Have I forgotten how to play game?
