What's a game you couldn't get into at first, but ended up liking after you "forced" yourself to play it?

I gotta say Fallout 3 did this for me. I played it on PS3 for the first time around 2009 and I couldn't get into the combat system. When I got to the Super Duper Mart and got overencumbered for the first time after picking up everything that wasn't nailed down, I got turned off and just stopped playing. It wasn't until I cleared my backlog of all the other games I had and didn't have anything else to play that I gave it another chance.

And that shit clicked.

Ironically, the PS3 version is the worst version. It had so many crashes and the loading was horrible. But the game clicked with me so well, that I mustered through and completed it.
