What should I learn and where can I learn it?

So I'm planning to be in the royal marines one day(havent gone through any training yet)but I know next to nothing about being in the military.what lifes like? terms, Expressions etc. I'm wondering before I apply What should I brush up on and learn about to make things Easier for me? And where can I learn about this stuff?
