What game did you *have* to buy because you saw the cover story in Game Informer?

I’ll never forget seeing Crackdown on the cover of Game Informer and then reading through the write up about that game. I thought it looked like the absolute coolest thing ever — Grand Theft Auto in a futuristic city where I have superpowers and can throw trucks around? Hell yeah. Probably the most hyped I can remember myself ever being for a game release as a kid.
