For example in Last Man Standing there are 3 daughters, and very early on they replaced the eldest with a different actress.
Nick Jonas plays a boy who got her pregnant, only to be replaced early on for the remainder of the show.
Much later, the show was canceled and came back shortly afterwards, but a second daughter was now replaced by a new actress.
Somewhere along the way the third daughter had been basically written out so she could work on other jobs, making appearances here and there.
By the end the main actors and actresses changed so much that it really wasn’t the same.
