Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 300 AM CDT. * At 226 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near North Jetty to 6 nm north of Galveston A8, moving southeast at 45 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * Locations impacted include...
