My husband and I are going to France for the first time end of August - how does this itinerary sound? For reference we are 26/28 and we are trying to do less "home bases." We travelled Italy last summer and were only staying in one place for 1 -3 nights and it was a lot of moving around. Trying to live la doce vita
Day 1: Nice - wake up late, stop by food market grab some bites picnic on the beach, beach day, dinner at Bocca Mar (turns into fun DJ)
Day 2: Nice - day trip (looking into Eze, Monaco, Cannes, or Antibes)
Day 3: Nice - old town of Nice, Castle on the hill, Waka Bar
Day 4: drive to Provence and stay in countryside
Day 5: Provence - day trip to Calanques National Park and go boating, swimming, hiking, etc
Day 6: Provence
Day 7: Train to Paris
Day 8: Paris
Day 9: Paris
Day 10: Paris
Day 11: Flight or train to London
Day 12: friend wedding in London
Day 13- Back to US
Very rough plan- havent even looked at Paris yet, but how does this rough itinerary sound? Any must do's or must skip's for any of these places? Any input to help me fill in is much appreciated!
