Melissa Barrera Is ‘Here to Stay’ & ‘Proud’ of Finishing Abigail while Dealing with Scream Firing

Melissa Barrera isn’t going anywhere. Despite the controversy surrounding her firing from the Scream franchise, Barrera pushes forward in the industry. And the actress' latest role as the criminal Joey in Abigail is a far cry from the heroic Ghostface survivor she played in Scream (2022) and Scream VI. During the latest episode of Collider Ladies Night, Barrera said, “I’m here to stay,” and she's “proud” of pushing forward in her career after being dismissed from Scream.
