What was the first movie you remember seeing in theaters? And I mean REMEMBER.

For me it's definitely Spider-Man 2002. I'm sure I've "seen" other films before that one (my mom likes to talk about how she and her friend took me and my sister to see the Lion King in theaters but I certainly don't remember that.), but this is an entire experience I remember to my core.

I even remember the marketing beforehand; I will die on the hill that the Twin Tower setup was supposed to be Spider-Man's reveal in the film. 100%. But then you know...THINGS happened.

The movie has of course not aged the best. But it will have a special spot in my heart for being one of the first movies I remember so vividly and its why Spider-Man is my favorite hero. He left an impact.

I'm gonna make an edit and say that yes I did see Sorcerer's Stone in theaters, but I more so remember the experience of that night not the movie itself. I hope that makes sense.
