Should I join the military

I am a 19 year old male who dropped out of college after 3 months (baseball player got injured) want to do security forces or master at arms so I can come out and become a cop and planning on buying a fourplex with the VA loan. Would a veteran suggest the military to someone in my position? My family is middle class so it’s not my get out of town card like it is for many
