One thing I don't understand is the BAE Systems and Rheinmetall so called "Joint Venture".

On one hand you have UK's BAE Systems, the 7th biggest Military Contractor in the world, and Europes Biggest, with around 96% of revenue coming from it's military contracts. BAE Systems is worth around £42 billion

The other hand you have Germany's Rheinmetall, the 19th Biggest in the World, and Europes 5th biggest, with around 75% of revenue coming from it's military contracts. Rheinmetall is worth around £20 billion

And yet BAE Systems sold 55% of it's Land Division to Rheinmetall for around £28.6 million.

Why sell off a whole division to a smaller competitor, makes no sense tbh.

RBSL that so called "Joint Venture" isn't very Jointly 55-45. RBSL It's a German Company, just cause it's in the UK doesn't mean it's British. Ie the Challenger 3 and any other vehicles they makes are German, not British.

Why it wasn't 55 UK 45 German I do not know.

Sad tbh. Ending nearly 100 years of British Tank Design and Development.
