When I watched Midsommar for the first time I felt a feeling that I rarely ever get, not that I loved the movie but that place they were, the overly-bright ambience and the feeling of loneliness in this place, the peace (although the movie wasn’t too peaceful), it’s hard to explain I love it because it reminds me of some memories of my childhood that felt bad but comforting at the same time, anyway, is there any other movie with the same vibe? It doesn’t necessarily need to have horror elements to it that Midsommar has.
