How do I stop my dog from peeing on everything?

I(18F) and my family are moving to another state to be closer to family in about a month. Our house won't be ready though and we'll be staying in my uncle's house until it is. The biggest problem my dog. His name is Poppy, he's an 8yo male Chorky and he will not stop peeing on things, getting on just about everything that slightly protrudes from the wall. Obviously this is gross and just makes things smell horrible but I cannot get him to stop. Since we'll be be staying in my uncle's house, I don't want him to pee on things and get his things all gross, then get in trouble. No matter how many times I take him out, he always finds time to pee on things. Please help, I'm already super anxious about being thrust into a house with people I've never met, I don't want to cause any trouble because of my dog peeing on things.
