 | Hello everyone, so i’m here to hopefully get some answers. this is my grandfather and i do not know much about him and neither does my dad. we requested military service records from the government to find more information on his background. but he served in WWII. where exactly we don’t know. but we do know he was shot in the leg somewhere and had gotten bitten by a poisonous snake. our guess is somewhere in the pacific. BUT my main question here for you guys is what is that symbol patch on his sleeve mean? i have never seen it anywhere else in my life and i cannot find anything on a google image search.
