During the peak of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, how often were units (battalions/brigades/divisions) being deployed to to serve in those conflict

I recall in 06 or 07, some ARMY units served 15 month deployments.

How was it for say the British or Canadian units. Did they deploy every few years to these warzones?
