Title basically. I have other savings too, currently unemployed due to tech lay offs (can live on emergency funds, tax refund and severance without liquidating anything).
The stocks (and the Schwabs account) are from when I worked in US. Right now living in Canada.
So should I: - reinvest the money in US market? liquid - Move it to my Canada account and max my RRSP, FHSA and/or TFSA (basically 401k, house savings and Roth IRA) as there are tax benefits to all and I can get a tax deduction on my “income” during the unemployment. retirement - put some in crypto too (have some already invested) liquid - High yield CDs? - Something I don’t know?
