It doesn't launch until July 31, but preorders went live earlier today.
Unfortunately, preorders for the Materia Hunter Board Game are sold out right now. However, we'd expect it to come back in stock in the coming weeks. The game itself sounds plenty interesting, as it’s a competitive experience designed for up to four players. You'll be split into teams (1v1 or 2v2) as you jump into the shoes of iconic Final Fantasy 7 characters and battle to collect the most Materia.
All your favorite characters are up for grabs, including Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Barret, and Aerith, among others. Each character comes with their own unique playstyle--lending plenty of replayability to the board game. Matches are fast, running for about 20-30 minutes.
