On the LG side, we’ll be highlighting the launch of its OLED 45GS95QE monitor. This top-of-the-range model features a 21:9 aspect ratio and UWQHD resolution.

45GS95QE: a 21:9 OLED screen for $1299!

LG 45GS95QEWith this new monitor, the brand offers us a reference with a 44.5″ OLED panel. The latter boasts a 21:9 aspect ratio and 3440×1440 resolution, but that’s not all: the monitor’s reactivity is also important, with a frequency of 240 Hz. Naturally, with all this, latency will be very low: 0.03 ms grey to grey. And let’s not forget that the slab in question is curved at 800R, a pronounced curvature compared to the size of the screen.

Otherwise, as far as the display is concerned, the brightness is announced at 275 nits typical, with peaks at 1300. Thanks to the OLED panel, contrast is high, with a ratio of 1500000:1. Behind this, we find VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification. Otherwise, viewing angles are 178°, while DCI-P3 color gamut coverage is 98.5%.

Of course, a height-adjustable stand is included. However, given the size of the machine, portrait mode is out of the question. As for video inputs, we have DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1.

The price is seriously high: €1,200 officially.
